You will get:
- A detailed editorial report with my feedback
- In-line comments with my specific suggestions, thoughts, or reactions
- Two read-throughs of your novel
- The big picture feedback will focus on plot, pacing, character development, POV, theme, conflict, tension, setting, dialogue, structure, writing style, and consistency.
Cost: $0.003 USD per word
I will beta read your fantasy, sci-fi, or romance novel.
You will get:
- Honest feedback from a reader's perspective
- A reader report on what I think works well and what can be improved
- One read-through of your novel
- Feedback will be given on character development, plot, pacing, consistency, writing style, dialogue, structure, POV.
Cost:
Blurb: $25 USD
Synopsis: $30 for 1 page, $40 for 2, $50 for 3.
Must have proper formatting!

I will help you with a reader's book blurb or a book synopsis that will be sent to an agent/publisher.
I will read any genre.
I will provide suggestions to make sure the synopsis/blurb flows, there are good transitions between paragraphs, and there is enough detail.

About Me
Hello! My name is Breana Bowles, the owner of BreanaBEditing.
I'm 26 years old, and I am from Florida.
I have always been an avid reader growing up. My favorite genres are fantasy, romance, and sci-fi.
I knew that I wanted to edit books since I was in high school. I have always dreamed of helping authors in their editing process, which is why I chose to become a freelance editor.
My Experience
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Technical Communication from the University of Central Florida. I took courses in editing and publishing, short fiction, creative writing, and poetry.
After college, I read books about developmental editing, freelance editing, and writing.
I took a course to get my certificate in developmental editing where I learned about manuscript evaluations and editorial reports.
